Opening: The Dragon King at Center for Puppetry Arts
The Dragon King reigns at the Center for Puppetry Arts, March 14 through April 2. A determined grandmother makes the journey to the bottom of the sea in hopes of meeting a dragon who can bring rain to her drought-stricken village. Tanglewood Marionettes of Ware, Mass. bring the show to life with an array of colorful puppets.
Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
**On Sunday, March 19, a special Autism Spectrum Disorder-friendly showing of The Dragon King will take place, with reduced sensory effects and staff trained in ASD interaction.**
