2 ½ ounces of Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon
¼ ounce of rich syrup (2 parts sugar, preferably Sugar in the Raw; 1 part hot water)
10 spearmint leaves

Add mint leaves and rich syrup to bottom of glass and, with the back of a bar spoon, lightly press the mint into the syrup and muddle along the sides of glass. Add bourbon and pack full with crushed ice. Garnish with bouquet of mint sprigs, a sipping straw in the bouquet and a dash of powdered sugar on top to complete the drink.
