Chef Daniel Porubiansky came to Century House Tavern in the spring of 2013, leaving the executive chef post at what is arguably the most highly regarded restaurant group in Atlanta, but bringing with him a wealth of experience in some of the nation’s greatest kitchens to Woodstock.  A deeply ingrained love of fresh ingredients, personal relationships with farmers and decades of experience in German and French kitchens has helped shape Porubiansky’s development of the menu, but the basic concept has remained the same.

With the assistance of managing partner and general manager Jon Hayan, and assistant general manager Alex Shumila, Porubiansky will host his first wine dinner at Century House Tavern, Wednesday Sept. 17 beginning at 7 p.m., featuring exclusive wines from distributor Donne e Vino’s collection of esoteric Italian varietals.
